It is a good backpack well laid out for daily use: going to the gym, work, etc... The compression straps are dumb on a 25l bag like this. I cut them off cause they were just in the way. The bottle holder isn't great but it works.

Wow! This bag is built like a tank

Wow! This bag is built like a tank. At about 4+ lbs. It's is very well structured and I'm learning my way around it when I traveled to Rome, London and Madrid2 weeks ago. Loving it so far.

Wow, I never thought a backpack could be this good. The quality and functionality is amazing. It has all the compartments you could possibly need. Very well designed is really well thought out. So much space too. I love it. Since I bought it I've been using it like 5 days a week for work. I'm super satisfied with it. I highly recommend it.

Really great bag, so many storage pockets. The shoulder strap design makes the bag feel much lighter on your back, and I really like thebright orange inside as it makes everything easier to find. Very happy with purchase!

The Best Backpack I've Ever Owned - A Photographer's Dream Pack

I want to start by saying this review is completely genuine—I’m not writing this for the $15 incentive. I’m writing it because the Oono V3 is, without a doubt, the best backpack I’ve ever owned. After going through multiple "brand name" bags that failed with ripped seams, broken zippers, and strange wear patterns, the V3 has been a revelation. It is incredibly durable and built to last. I've been using it for about six months, and despite taking it on mountain hikes across the NE USA, through snow, heavy rain, and even a muddy incident, it still looks brand new. The functionality is outstanding: it has numerous pockets, a great capacity that expands to hold everything well, two lockable sections for security, and a dedicated section for cold or hot items. As a photographer and videographer who carries a Sony A7RV and a significant amount of expensive gear, the durability and reliability of the V3 are non-negotiable. The power bank passthrough port is also a very useful feature for keeping my essential gear charged while on the move. I have since picked up several other Oono items, including the Oono Slim RFID Wallet, the Small and Large Tech Organizer Pouches, the 4 Packing Cubes, and both Camera Bags. All of these accessories are very well-made. The wallet, while not quite my personal style, is fully functional and does its job excellently. My one piece of feedback is that the large camera bag doesn't fit inside the V3. However, the smaller camera bag is a perfect fit, and it’s surprisingly spacious—it holds my camera body, two lenses, my lav mics, flash, and a large battery all in the central section. I can also easily fit both tech pouches inside the V3 along with the small camera bag. I may have too many storage options now, but I don't regret having the optionality and quality. Thank you, Oono, for such amazing quality gear.

Great bag

The Oono V2 20L has enough room for a weekend getaway. It feels very comfortable light and comfortable. The multiple pockets make it easy to pack my electronics and snacks. I hope a 30L version will be available in the future. That you give me a little more flexibility when traveling.

The best backpack I've EVER OWNED!

I've had a LOT of backpacks over the years, but this one is hands down my favorite of all time. The build quality is incredible, the zippers are great, and it can absolutely take a beating. Loved it so much I bought them for all of my employees as a Christmas gift this year. If you're on the fence about getting one of these, do it.

Finally Backpack I've Been Looking For!!

I have been through countless backpacks the past few years trying to find one that checked all my boxes. The Oono V3 20L is that bag. The quality, the features, and the functionality is everything I was looking for and more. I have never purchased anything from an ad on social media before so I didn't have much hope, but thank goodness I did!

Loving my new Oono Backpack

I picked up Oono’s Backpack V3 20L about a month ago, and I’ve been really impressed. The pocket layout is perfect—everything has its place—and it’s surprisingly comfortable even when it’s packed with all my stuff. Just a great everyday bag that’s been easy to love.

Pretty good

This is my EDC bag that goes to and from work. So far the bag has held up fine. No zipper issues or any other issues. Only thing I’d change about the bag is to make all outer compartments hard clamshell. The top one is but the others are soft. I like to put cameras and electronics in these pockets for easy access and would like them protected more. All in all I’m happy with my purchase.

Great backpack with several compartments

I use this as my gig back that replaced a larger 5.11 rush 72 due to having more storage compartments for my cables adapters and so far its been working wonders. The only downfall is that the compartment for a water bottle is much smaller than my old bag.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The Good: The color of the interior color is great makes it easy to find objects in a dark place. Plenty of storage space. The Bad: Do you need two water bottle holders. I thought and wished that the second water bottle holder was a storage pocket for a cell phone and key like your other pack. The Ugly: Needs a side handle for when you need to hand carry your bag in your hands.

Great organized bag, but pretty heavy

Great organization. As others have said, this is a heavy bag when empty. I color coded the zippers since there are several right there together and I get them mixed up. Not a bag fault as much as an area for improvement. Bag otherwise functions as intended and quite happy with my purchase.

Pack is great! I am a bit of a fanatic for having everything in order. This bag lets me do that but also with quick access areas as well.

Best travel backpack I’ve owned!!!

This backpack is the best travel backpack I’ve ever found. I travel constantly and have gone through so many backpacks that I can’t even count at this point. Everything I’ve found has fallen short in some aspect except this one. I like to have everything compartmentalized and organized so that I don’t have to take apart my entire bag to retrieve specific items and the organization pouches added to the versatility of this bag make for the perfect combination. I just had my first trip since getting this bag this month and it was so much easier. Bag was worth every penny and then some

Needed a new backpack that was versatile with plenty of pockets. The Oono V3 exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Best backpack I have ever owned

The construction of this backpack is unparalleled - super strong, stitching support in the right places and good, durable material. The number of pockets is excellent and I am glad they upgraded to three exterior zip pockets on the back. The fact that these are raised up is both a curse and a blessing; it accommodates unique items (especially Apple device plugs/transformers) but the pockets are pre-formed meaning that if the backpack is full, this design creates an extra inch or so of height when laying the backpack flat in an airplane. That said, though it was a snug fit, I was able to get the backpack full of gear into an overhead compartment on a Trailways bus. Those compartments are often smaller than overhead storage on an airplane, so you should still be good there. The main compartments are roomy and can handle a good amount of storage. For a 20L bag, I managed to get a 17" laptop, mousepad, mouse, corded power supply, a tablet, charging cable and power hubs for both the tablet and the phone, pad and pens, a full med kit (roughly the size of a shoebox), large over-the-ear headphones and two smaller sets of headphones, a powerbank, snacks, wallet, phone and more into the pack. I still had room to add things. Loading it this way does make it very heavy, but the padded shoulder straps are strong and comfortable. Having wheels would be nice, but we would just be getting into a whole new area. The only two detractors for me - color, as the bag is only offered in black and grey - would love to have had it in royal or navy blue or red; and the side panel bottle holders. This time, both side panels include a strip of MOLLE to be able to add pouches or whatnot to customize the bag which is forward-thinking, but the MOLLE really restricts those side pouches to very narrow water canisters or very narrow water bottles. Because the MOLLE is stitched to the edges of the bag, it cannot expand. I like the MOLLE addition, but stitching it to the panel instead of the seams of the main bag would be a better idea. So, my review is basically a 4.7 instead of just a 4.

The product description doesn’t even come close to listing all the well thought out features of this backpack. And it is so well made! Great zippers, strong stitching and creatively crafted. I couldn’t be happier.

Fantastic backpack!

I’ve owned several “name brand” travel and camera backpacks, many of which were far more expensive, but the v3 has genuinely impressed me. The build quality is absolutely on par with those other brands, but what really sets it apart is the functionality. The layout makes packing smarter and more efficient – everything has its place, and the pockets are thoughtfully designed so items are easy to access without rummaging. I did experience a small issue with one of the straps, but I have to highlight how outstanding the customer service was. The Oono team, and Nathan in particular, were fantastic to deal with – responsive, professional, and genuinely committed to resolving the problem quickly. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome, and that experience alone has made me even more confident in the brand. I would highly recommend the V3 to anyone looking for a backpack that delivers on quality, practicality, and customer support. It’s rare to find a product that ticks all the boxes, but this one truly does.

I like a bag that has plenty of of different places to store things and this bag delivers. I went to Chicago for the weekend and it fit my clothes and everything I needed. I even had a guy behind me getting on to the plan asking the name of the bag and where I bought it!

I love the bag so far. I would however have preferred that the V3 had the two external side pockets of the V2, being: - an expandable drink bottle pocket for larger bottles, and, - a mobile phone / notepad / pen storage pocket. A removable clip for keys is also missing in the V3. I love the look of the bag, the feel of the bag, the bigger stronger zippers (my last two backpacks suffered from zipper failure).
